RISE | Women's Legal Centre Receives $1 Million in Government Funding

We're excited to announce that our subtenant, RISE, Women's Legal Centre, has received $1 million in funding from the BC Government.

Community Impact Real Estate Society (CIRES) is committed to supporting non-profit organizations that work towards creating positive social impact in their communities. We are thrilled to share that one of our non-market subtenants, RISE | Women's Legal Centre, has been awarded a million dollars in funding from the BC Government to continue their crucial work in providing legal services to women.

RISE Women's Legal Centre is a non-profit organization that provides free legal representation and advice to women in British Columbia who are experiencing poverty, gender-based violence, and other forms of discrimination. Their work is essential in ensuring that women have access to justice and the legal support they need to navigate challenging situations.

The funding that RISE has received from the government will enable them to expand their services and reach more women in need. As their sublandlord, CIRES is proud to support them in its mission to create a more equitable and just society.

At CIRES, we understand the importance of providing affordable and accessible spaces for non-profit organizations like RISE to thrive. We remain committed to supporting their work by providing affordable space.

Congratulations again to RISE Women's Legal Centre on this significant achievement, and we look forward to supporting them to create a more just and equitable society for all women.
